Realty Times' Market Conditions Realtors Make Big Commissions

Arizona Realtor Kent Gagon says he's made over $200,000 in commissions from consumers he met through Realty Times' Market Conditions Reports. Colorado Realtor Judith Clausen has made over $35,000, and California Realtor Anthony Marguleas has lost count of how much he's made.

No referral fees. Just personal marketing. That's what Market Conditions Reports really is -- a premier personal marketing opportunity for Realtors to do what they do best -- show how well they know the local market.

Realty Times' Market Conditions Reports are an easy, high-profile way for Realtors to get in front of Internet homebuying consumers as experts in their areas. The reports are featured on Realty Times' front page and on Realty Times TV, an hour-long show featuring listings as commercials for Realtors, news and advice. Market Conditions Reports are also on all Realty Times' partner sites including Realtor.com and AOL, showcase Realtors as reporters in their markets. They report news, share their observations, and give advice to buyers and sellers.

"This is not insight you can get from an automated tool," says Jody Lane, CEO of Realty Times, "You can only get the whole picture from Realtors. Market Conditions Reports" makes sense because it puts Realtors in front of buyers and sellers. They know their markets."

Some Realtors report spectacular results.

Arizona Realtor Kent Gagon says, "I have been extremely pleased with the marketing and promotion that has come along with being a member of the Realty Times Reporting on Market conditions. I can tell you that when the system is worked properly, the income that can come from it is outstanding. So far this year, I would contribute close to $200,000 of my income having come from being a part of the reporting team. Being a part of the system has obviously more than paid for itself."

Agrees Colorado Realtor Judith Clausen, "I'm very happy about the purchase of Realty Times' Market Conditions Reports. I can attribute three clients and close to $35,000 in commissions directly to the reports since I began writing them some eight months ago. My most recent clients, two family physicians finishing up their residencies and ready to start "real life" just signed a contract for their dream home. My doctors are very happy and very excited about the move, and none of it would have happened if it hadn't been for my Market Conditions Report."

Some long-time subscribers have lost count of how much they've earned from clients who hired them through Market Conditions Reports.

California Realtor Anthony Marguleas has been using Market Conditions Reports for over five years to get more Internet exposure for his website. "We ask all our clients how they found us and many just say the Internet," says Marguleas, "and we aren't sure what specific Internet source. I can say that we do get a great web presence from it and think it is an excellent value."

"I use all of the features Realty Times offers for online marketing, and as a package, it's the best bang for the buck," says Florida Realtor Karen Dove, "My website went online in 1996 and I strongly believe that Realty Times has been a factor in the steady increase my the traffic. The ease of use and customer support keeps me as a customer."

Says Lane, "It's very satisfying to know that we can show this kind of value to Realtors. We promote the agents online every day and on TV every week. Our Agent Publicity Package is a real homerun for agents. Like Karen said, it's the most bang for the buck there is in marketing."

What makes these Realtors successful with Realty Times' tools? Realty Times has studied the success of its online customers and has found that the ones who get the most inquiries from buyers and sellers consistently:

  • List information about as many housing types are possible to appeal to a wider variety of consumers. Use as much detail as possible.

  • Include the hard figures and statistics such as the number of homes currently on the market, number of homes sold in the last month, number of homes closed year-to-date compared to last year, etc.

  • Submit price trends, mortgage rates, and whether or not it is currently a buyer's or seller's market.

Observes Bobbi Corona, Realty Times' customer support manager, "The agents who appear the most 'human' to the consumer tend to get more attention. For instance, Arizona Realtors Lou Vetter and Jill Samuelson write fun reports. Not only are their reports informative, the tone is lively. They attract the consumer by their apparent enjoyment of what they do. I always tell new agent customers to write like they are talking to someone who walked into their office looking for a home. Show your personality in your writing."
